The Lake Travis Education Foundation (LTEF) is proud to announce a significant expansion of the foundation’s mission to include funding district staff positions in addition to its long-standing support for classroom grants and student scholarships.

 This change reflects both the reality of Texas school finance and the urgent needs of our district. At the request of Superintendent Dr. Curtis Null, LTEF is now positioned to help maintain quality programs and retain talented educators in Lake Travis ISD.

“This amendment reflects the reality of today’s funding environment,” said Claire Kinnersley, LTEF Director. “Our community expects exceptional education for Lake Travis students, and this change allows the foundation to directly address the most urgent needs of our schools.”

In addition to staff support, LTEF is launching Student Enrichment Initiatives—fundraising efforts that help campuses provide in-house experiences designed to inspire curiosity, joy, and learning. These enrichment days bring the excitement of field trips directly onto our campuses, with cultural presenters, science demonstrations, arts programs, and hands-on workshops.

These opportunities ensure:

• Equity – Every student participates, no matter their family’s financial situation.
• Access – Experiences come to the campus, eliminating cost and transportation barriers.
• Memories – Students walk away with shared experiences that strengthen both learning and community.
